Closed-alpha terms

A test should still have clear rules.

These terms apply to invited users of Sarlo's closed alpha. They are intentionally written in plain language: what you can expect from the test, what Sarlo expects from testers and where the limits are while the product is still being proven.

Last updated: 25 August 2026

Invitation only

Access is limited to accounts Sarlo has explicitly approved for the closed alpha.

Your account is yours

Keep login credentials private and tell Sarlo if you believe your account has been compromised.

Alpha means change

Features, limits and behaviour may change while reliability and product boundaries are being tested.

01

Using the closed alpha

Sarlo is provided for invited testing and personal use. Access may be limited, paused or withdrawn where needed to protect users, investigate issues, maintain the service or keep the alpha within safe operating limits.

02

Account responsibility

Use your own approved account and keep your credentials secure. Do not share an invitation or account access with another person unless Sarlo has explicitly approved that person. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact hello@sarlo.ai as soon as reasonably possible.

03

Information you submit

You are responsible for having the right to provide information you submit to Sarlo. Do not intentionally upload unlawful material, credentials, passwords, PINs, card security codes, one-time access codes, malware or content designed to harm the service or another person.

04

AI output and confirmation

Sarlo may use AI to interpret supported inputs. AI can be wrong. The product is being designed to surface uncertainty and support confirmation, correction and history, but you should still check information that matters before relying on it. Sarlo is not a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial or emergency advice.

05

Testing, feedback and changes

Closed-alpha testers may provide feedback, bug reports and suggestions. Unless separately agreed, you give Sarlo permission to use that feedback to improve the product without creating an obligation to implement it or pay for it. The alpha can change substantially as testing continues.

06

Availability and limits

Sarlo does not promise uninterrupted availability during closed alpha. Planned or unplanned maintenance, provider outages, safety limits and experimental changes can temporarily affect the service. Usage limits may be applied to prevent abuse, runaway cost or instability.

07

Intellectual property

Sarlo's software, branding, design and original product materials remain the property of their respective owner. You keep rights in the information you submit. Using the alpha does not transfer ownership of Sarlo's software or brand to you.

08

Suspension or ending access

Access may be suspended or ended for misuse, security risk, breach of these terms, abuse of the service or because the closed-alpha programme changes. You may stop using Sarlo at any time and can contact hello@sarlo.ai about account or data questions.

09

Liability during alpha

The closed alpha is provided on an experimental basis while core behaviour is still being proven. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, Sarlo is not responsible for losses caused by relying on unconfirmed or incorrect experimental output where the product has not expressly guaranteed that information.

10

Privacy and changes to these terms

Personal-data handling is described in the Sarlo Privacy Notice. These terms may be updated as the alpha changes; material changes that affect invited users should be communicated appropriately before they take effect where required.

Questions about the terms

Ask before you rely on an assumption.
